Snow
The flakes so unique with perfect form
A Divine creation of the Lord is born.
Drifting down from the clouds so high
Swirling in the winds that tie the world’s skies.
A single form, a cluster of few, a flying snowball,
Snow sloshing wet in my shoe.
Beneath the soft fluffy blanket of white
The cold ground shivers in the sun light.
A wet snow, a frozen road, an arctic blast
Is heat alive in contrast.
Photo credit: I must admit I do not remember where exactly I found this photo. I believe it was on one of the wonderful blogs I read. The credit of the uniqueness and perfect form of each snow flake goes to God. I hope all are warm and with power! The storms in my area have been beautiful. The heaviness of the snow and ice has been problematic to the electric wires and many are still without power. I am nestled all warm and cozy in my home. Very blessed! Namaste, mary
Hi Mary… the photo you mention didn’t make it into the post! A beautiful poem.
LOL…Thank you James I guess I forgot to attach it. Enjoy the picture I think of this picture with every snow flake I see.
Dearest Mary, in these words, I realize the beauty of snow………and a greater truth, the beautiful nature of the writer, as unique to us as the first snowflake. This is wonderful. Thank you. ~ Love, Bobbie [PS – I do wish to see the picture, but can’t imagine it would match the one you’ve drawn with your words.]
Dearest Bobbie, You are always so kind with your words. Enjoy the picture and the next time the snow falls just image each flake as perfect and beautiful as this one. Namaste, mary
Mary, the poem is wonderful, as is the image, I do not know why I don’t receive your posts, but I will make sure I do. My blog says I am following you, I will just have to make sure it happens. Embracing the spirit of your words is always a delight to my day. Thanks for your visit also! Have a wonderful weekend.
