Read the stars that shine so bright,
A treasure map for the new born life.
The Major and Minor Arcana march,
In unison for the human life embarked.

Whether it is Love, Money, or Power you seek,
The Tarot will reveal lessons for you to tweak.

In the Tarot the Tower will fall
And Death will ride in standing tall.
The struggle and strife from the wands will call
A reminder to the soul,
To let go of the ego’s hollow hold.

Within the cards there is nothing to fear.
A map of your journey is always near.
A message for success to restore Divine right
A love letter for your soul to complete its flight.

When the cup overflows with gratitude and love
The stars hidden meaning will sparkle above.

In the end the Aces reign,
As a gift of The All for all the good they bring.
The soul’s lesson now to be known,
Gives the path for Ascension to the Divine Throne

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.” – Isaiah 55:8

I am not here to tell you God’s will.

The temptation to do so is powerful, in light of the news out of a hospital in the United Kingdom: Malala has received a miracle.

You remember Malala Yousafzai, of course. She is the Pakistani girl from the conservative Swat Valley region of that country who came to international attention as a blogger and activist for the right of girls and women to be educated. This basic human freedom is a matter of great controversy among Islamic extremists, particularly the Taliban, which used to stage house-to-house raids in Malala’s town, searching for girls in possession of books.

Last month, Taliban goons with guns attacked a van carrying Malala and her classmates home from school. Two other girls were hit, through their wounds were not life threatening. Malala’s were. The bullets took her in the neck and the head.

A little over a month later, we learn from CNN that Malala is walking, reading, writing, smiling and is believed to have suffered no significant neurological damage in the attack.

Against all odds, all reason, all sensible expectation for a teenage girl shot in the head and neck, it looks like she is going to be fine.     But I’m not here to tell you God’s will.Granted, Malala’s miracle seems to deserve that – to cry out for it, in fact. But putative people of faith are often too glib, facile and mean in claiming to have divined the divine. Just as often, their interpretations say less about God than about them, the things they hate and fear, the narrowness of their vision, the niggardliness of their souls.

The Rev. John Hagee, for example, said it was the will of God to drown New Orleans in Hurricane Katrina as punishment for the city’s willingness to countenance a gay festival. He did not explain why the Good Lord swamped the rest of the city but left the sin-soaked French Quarter, site of the aforesaid festival, relatively unscathed.

Republican senatorial candidate Richard Mourdock, on the other hand, said it was God’s will if a woman is raped and then finds herself pregnant with the rapist’s child. He did not explain why God would choose to inflict such physical and emotional violence upon a presumably unoffending woman.

And then, there is the Taliban itself, which said it was God’s will, required by the Quran, for this teenage girl to die. If she survived, said a spokesman after the assault, they would try again to kill her.

Since then, a number of things have happened. Malala’s school has been renamed in her honor. The United Nations instituted a worldwide day, also in her honor, and has launched a campaign for girls’ education. It is called “I Am Malala.” Pakistanis, perhaps previously cowed by the terrorist bullying of religious fanatics, have risen in mass protest, finding courage in numbers. Malala has been asking for her school books so that she can study. On a message board of CNN.com, a reader suggests she ought to get the Nobel Peace Prize, and the idea does not seem at all far-fetched.

Oh, yes, and there is a million dollar bounty on the head of the Taliban spokesman.     Take it all as a stark reminder that too often, people who speak glibly of the will of God really describe no will higher than their own. They presume to interpret God like tarot cards or the stock market, forgetting that God is sovereign and does not need their help. He is a big God. He can speak for Himself. So I will yield not to temptation. Unlike the Taliban, I will not presume to tell you what God’s will was. But in light of Malala’s miracle, it seems pretty clear what God’s will was not.

A girl so young, innocent and sweet,

With a voice that rebounds through the streets.

Her song for girls and women across her land,

Give dreams of freedom

To those that wish they can.

Through Spirits eyes she reads a book,

Through divine mind she learns to write,

Through the voice of God she valiantly chants,

For the rights of women within her land.

•*¨*•¸¸¸.•*¨*•☆

One young girl with THE POWER within,

Can topple the reign of hate.

The voice of the Lord’s messenger

Valiantly creates.

It is from divinity expressed

In perfect natural form,

That freedom is born!

Inspired love from around the world

Embraces Malala tight,

Raising her soul

Within the Lords luminous light.

•*¨*•¸¸¸.•*¨*•☆

A girl so young and innocent

With a voice that resonates around the world.

It is her voice of truth and love,

That has great power the evil dream of.

It is her voice we hear in our heart,

It is her voice that will never be quelled,

For the Lord has spoken the truth to all.

And within her heart

The Lord’s words do swell.

The Lord’s message will forever be sung

Lovingly around the world.

It is within the voice of this enchanted girl.

A girl so young, innocent and sweet

With a voice that rebounds through the streets.

Her song for girls and women across her land,

Give freedom to those that wish they can.

•*¨*•¸¸¸.•*¨*•☆

Her soul so innocent and pure

A gift from the Lord.

Her life a threat to evil

Is a strength they deplore.

There is no Lord,

Supporting their war.

It is a war within their mind,

It is a war that supports their hate.

To give them power over those that fear.

To eliminate the love and goodness

Of the people they disintegrate.

The Lords message will forever be sung

Lovingly around the world.

It is within the voice of this enchanted girl.

Around the world and through the heart of all

The power of love and healing given by THE ALL

Raises Malala from this tragic day,

So her voice will speak the words of God once more.

No evil can take away

What God has given as destiny.

A girl so young, innocent and sweet

With a voice that rebounds through the streets.

Her song for girls and women across her land

Give freedom to those that wish they can.

It’s time for all around the world

To stand and raise our arms.

With our eyes on God,

And heart open wide,

Let the Spirit move hate aside.

It is our thoughts and deeds

That raise the love

And brings evil crumbling to its knees…

It is our choice to free those we love

It is our choice to take back our land.

Hand in hand, heart in heart,

Call upon the Lord

To clear the way

For Love to manifest

Perfectly today.

It is with sadness in my heart that today, International Day of Peace, is filled with anger and hate all around the world.  The most recent events of the American Film maker and his video has deliberately and intentionally hurt others.  I am so blessed to live in America where I have the freedom of speech, yet, with that freedom come great accountability to use words for the good of all.   No American has the right to use their privilege to hurt others.   I am also blessed with another great gift…the gift given by the Divine…by God.  The “FREEDOM TO CHOOSE,’ …today I choose love…I choose to use my words to deny anger, turn from hate, to love my brothers and sisters around the world.  You are all my family…Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, and all religions, we are one in this incredible universe.  We are one all connected through our hearts and love for God.

Several weeks ago I started working on this poem.  It was different for me and I was not sure where it was coming from.  As Peace day was approaching I know I would post it today.  Then the violence started.  Now I know, through prayer and meditation I have been called to reach out to all of you to join in hearts of love to denounce the violence.  I ask each of you to write something special today for Peace.  Boldly and confidently ask all your followers, friends, and family to put in their consciousness, thoughts and words of Peace…Use prayer…use meditation…use your words and thoughts to raise the peace vibrations around the world.  If we all start today with this we can spread the peace to millions very quickly.    I will use the words “peace…and world peace,” in mediation for the next few days and possibly weeks and months until the hurt is healed.   Regardless of where we live, or what our life situation is, we all have free choice…the choice to love, the choice to respect, the choice to embrace the beauty and divine nature of others.

Millions of stars sparkle in the sky.

Lighting the night, for human wishes to glide.

Under the stars the poets dream,

Lovers love, and conceive wishful things.

Stars illuminate the night,

Filling the earth with hope and light.

Upon the earth the humans roam,

Looking high into the night.

With wonder in their minds

They wish on the stars shinning bright.

They dream a dream

That all in the universe is alright.

What if the stars in the sky started to fight?

Grabbing and seizing each other’s light.

Seeing only what the other has,

And what they think they might.

With guns, tanks, and missiles,

The stars fight a selfish fight,

Extinguishing each other’s light.

Upon the earth the darkness falls.

Dimming the love and dreams of all.

Now, what if the stars looked down upon the earth,

And see trillions of humans as energy burst.

With great energy the earth does shine…

And the beauty grows like autumn sweet on a leafy vine.

Now what if, within that sight,

The stars watch the humans fight.

Wars between races, religions, and nationalities,

Spilled blood fills the land and water ways.

Waterfalls of misery cascade along the earth.

And the beauty once there,

Now violently fading away.

So perhaps the story should be told

That the stars shine bright each and every night.

The humans live with harmony flowing from heart to heart.

And love ignites both the sky and land,

And the universe of God flourishes.

So if you look up in the sky,

Or the stars look down on the land,

All will shine with Spirits Divine Light.

And through the message of love all will exist

In God’s eternal bliss.

The warm summer breeze rustles silently through the trees.

The waning moon illuminates the sky,

A quarter hanging by the celestial bands,

As Spirit’s shadows dance across the land.

Darkness of night filled will wondrous light,

As if the Lord left on the dim sun light.

Through the quarter moon there is a glimpse of his eye,

Always watching the beloved universe,

And all that live on the magnificent earth.

A salty sea brings tears to an eye,

On rushing water fears bob bye.

A bleeding heart entwined with the heavenly source.

The essence of God beats through the human course.

In the silence of a thought there is a divine spark,

Igniting the melodic songs of the joyous Lark.

A meditating force alters the vibrations of the space,

Creating energy where there once was waste.

In the day or the night the world is bright,

A place of Love with the infinite light.

Through the sun or moon there is a glimpse of his eye,

Always watching the beloved universe,

And all that live on the magnificent earth.

The dawning day like the embers of a fire

ignites life into a blaze of light.

The darkening day of the setting sun

brings rest and healing to all

who dwell beneath the skies.

The glory of God in every breath of man.

It is the breath of the Lord we breathe.

The vision within The Mind

is the vastness and perfection within the universe.

The completeness and uniqueness of all God’s creatures.

Whether seen or unseen

is the Glory of God

the reflection of perfection in which we live.

Beneath our feet the Lord holds us up

as we walk through the gardens and streets.

God cuddles us as we lay to rest

and sings a sweet lullaby that brings us peace.

It is the Lord who restores us

when we choose to see the divinity

within this heavenly place.

It is the Lord who gives us what we need

and exceeds all expectations

when we choose Love

in all decisions we make.

It is the Lord who I see

when I look into your face…

Upon a pillow

I lay my head,

To dream a dream

In the heavenly bed.

As I drift to sleep

It is the Lord, who said,

“Sleep sweet child

And rest your eyes,

For tomorrow you see life

From the Spiritual side.”

In the land of slumber

It came to me,

The dream…I dreamed

Of God in everything.

The essence of the Lord,

The Holy One.

A perfect reflection

In the heavenly sun.

There is no particle without Divine life.

There is only beauty within the light.

“Look beyond the human sight,”

A chorus of Angels sang to me,

The Divinity of God emerged

In my sight.

“Cast your eyes from the human side

And allow all illusions to fade from you.”

In perfect harmony they sang this song.

“See the Divinity within the vibrations of life.

Feel the connectedness that erases all strife.

It is love in motion

This eternal potion

That vibrates in all of life.”

The truth you see

Is the connection of All,

Within the universe.

In the droplet form,

See the glistening Spirit

Beaded upon the perfect petal.

Look beyond that into

The reflection of God’s Divinity.

Through this lens now see

The love in everything.

Words of Juliana Nan posted on photobotos.com Aug 3, 2012

I had a dream…

I had visions of a world beyond words, colors, light, and shapes…a world of a different dimension, which I had no way to express. The only perfect creator is God, and we can only strive to achieve it.

I felt an endless longing to touch His perfection by taking photos.

This is the most tender way I can express my Love to the Creator of Everything visible and invisible…,like unspoken words…

There is one God… One Presence, One Universal Spirit…  God is the Infinite Spirit and Limitless Conscious Life within who all live.   I live and embrace the God Spirit that flows within me and is me.    There is one thought…one universal reflection of all that is…

I live in unity with THE ALL, in harmony with Universal Law, in peace with all God’s creations and in love of self and others.  As a divine creation of God I am good…I am worthy…and filled with the spiritual energy that flows through me and in me as I am the manifestation of God’s divine plan.  I am a demonstration of Gods goodness and my opportunities are unlimited.

I chose to live in the present with God’s love and energy indwelling and expressing.  I open my mind to universal knowledge and the divine truth as expressed through God.  I see with my eyes the beauty around me…the simplicity of divinity and the magnificence of Spirit.  I speak with my voice the words that Spirit crafts and with these words I share love and joy with others.  My heart is open for the Energy of God to express through love given and received.  It is God’s divine intent that I am deserving of love and loving and I allow my heart to release and receive.  In an open embrace I accept the joys this day brings and I know it is God’s will that I receive all goodness and grace of life.  I allow my feet to travel where the Lord leads me.   I trust in the Spirits manifestation through me as a divine expression of thoughts and joy.  So today I chose to walk within the limitless consciousness of God.  I stand in the light of Knowing that God’s thoughts demonstrate truth….joy…love…and abundance.  I am that Truth…as God is me…and God’s thoughts are my thoughts.  I am the very essence of the divine Universal Energy.   God creates with purpose…with perfection so there can only be perfection in my life with God today.

I am eternally grateful for my unity with God… for the divine experience of thought and the physical reflection this Universal Spirit produces.  My gratitude  over flows as I live in the abundance of this creative process…The God Process…The universal law…and the truth of this law.

I release this prayer knowing the reflection of these thoughts and words will be done…and so it is.

****

Over these past 10 months I have been learning about a new way of praying called, Affirmative Prayer.  I would like to share a prayer I wrote to bring in the Abundance of Joy into my life.  The past three years of my life have been marked by great change, much I controlled and some I did not.  What my spiritual teachers have been teaching me is I can choose to bring joy into my life.  So this pray is about experiencing God’s joy, seeing the beauty of God’s creativity and allowing myself to be led.  For several weeks after I wrote this I said it every morning and many evenings.  It is my belief that this pray with other prayers I wrote have been answered by the words in poetry that I have been posting.  God has so graciously blessed me as his words flow through my fingers to the computer screen.    If this prayer speaks to you please feel free to use it.

On the land in a thicken mass

Is a patch of sun catching grass.

Seeded deep within the earth,

Are prickly stalks with fiery burst.

Large heads tilted up to the infinite sky,

With rough green leaves open to the breeze.

It’s sun laden thirst sends the flowery burst

To chase the sun in a circadian flirt.

The petal heads with a multitude of seeds

Sustain life for the birds and bees.

When the winds blow hard the seeds do fly

Across the land to the other side.

And soon the new patch of sun will start to bloom.

Bloom and bloom the sun flower sways in the wind,

Like a giant among the patch of grass,

The sunflower seeds will continue on its path.

To procreate it’s burst of color

And to send it’s seeds to another.

A Butterfly flitters,

Across the grass and flower heads.

The rabbit nibbles in the herb bed.

The trickling brook splashes upon the rocks,

Water flows into the pond below.

Fish spawning is as natural as the spring,

My mind wandering is a restful thing.

God settling within my thoughts

Awakens my spirit,

Who quiets the self-talk.

Love within my heart swells,

For the blessings God reveals to me.

Words swirl around my mind each day,

Creating stories for the beauty I see.

Just knowing God is leading me

Is all I need to live so free.
