Today we celebrate the 4th of July, Independence Day. If I pretend to be a historian, I would say it was a day that represented a group of immigrants who colonialized the American continent, a day that represented unity and freedom from suppression.

In today’s culture, we see it as a summer holiday, a day to barbecue and celebrate with friends and family. To enjoy the freedom of the day with those we love. To celebrate our freedom to create a memory, to engage with it and to honor with love those who share in it.

For my family, we saw the 4th of July as a family celebration since it was my parent’s wedding anniversary. I was in first grade when I realize the fireworks were not to celebrate my parent’s wedding.  Instead celebrated something more foreign to me, the country’s anniversary. Even into adulthood, I still see this day as a celebration of my parents and the family they created. I am grateful for the freedom of the USA and the sacrifices so many have provided for my freedom.

Today, I have the freedom to sit and write this post. Something I take for granted when so many other bloggers, writers and journalist around the world look over their shoulder with every word they write. I am blessed and grateful for the freedoms in my life. I am free to love and honor the oneness in which I live, free to express through writing my beliefs and creative gifts. Free to send each of you a blessing for a heart and mind to experience the goodness of the Universe and “All” expressing its divine manifestation.

A girl so young, innocent and sweet,

With a voice that rebounds through the streets.

Her song for girls and women across her land,

Give dreams of freedom

To those that wish they can.

Through Spirits eyes she reads a book,

Through divine mind she learns to write,

Through the voice of God she valiantly chants,

For the rights of women within her land.

One young girl with THE POWER within,

Can topple the reign of hate.

The voice of the Lord’s messenger

Valiantly creates.

It is from divinity expressed

In perfect natural form,

That freedom is born!

Inspired love from around the world

Embraces Malala tight,

Raising her soul

Within the Lords luminous light.

A girl so young and innocent

With a voice that resonates around the world.

It is her voice of truth and love,

That has great power the evil dream of.

It is her voice we hear in our heart,

It is her voice that will never be quelled,

For the Lord has spoken the truth to all.

And within her heart

The Lord’s words do swell.

The Lord’s message will forever be sung

Lovingly around the world.

It is within the voice of this enchanted girl.

A girl so young, innocent and sweet

With a voice that rebounds through the streets.

Her song for girls and women across her land,

Give freedom to those that wish they can.

Her soul so innocent and pure

A gift from the Lord.

Her life a threat to evil

Is a strength they deplore.

There is no Lord,

Supporting their war.

It is a war within their mind,

It is a war that supports their hate.

To give them power over those that fear.

To eliminate the love and goodness

Of the people they disintegrate.

The Lords message will forever be sung

Lovingly around the world.

It is within the voice of this enchanted girl.

Around the world and through the heart of all

The power of love and healing given by THE ALL

Raises Malala from this tragic day,

So her voice will speak the words of God once more.

No evil can take away

What God has given as destiny.

It’s time for all around the world

To stand and raise our arms.

With our eyes on God,

And heart open wide,

Let the Spirit move hate aside.

It is our thoughts and deeds

That raise the love

And brings evil crumbling to its knees…

It is our choice to free those we love

It is our choice to take back our land.

Hand in hand, heart in heart,

Call upon the Lord

To clear the way

For Love to manifest

Perfectly today.

Rainbows and Dust – Bantayan Island, Philippines – Marc Hermann – Featured Photographer

Posted 04/06/2012 on www.photobotos.com

There is a path through God’s universe

Where light floods through the canopy of trees.

The prism of color floats in the smoky haze.

The children so precious and innocent

Ride their bike where only God will gaze.

A land of simplicity and divinity,

And the magnificence of the Lord’s creativity.

With trees so lush and fruit so sweet

A ground cover so green and soft beneath your feet.

A tropical place in heart and mind

A glorious spot for all souls to dine.

An ethereal land that spans beyond my human mind.

A place that signifies the reverence for life,

Within this heavenly sphere.

It is a sanctuary of God’s eternal love

And life without fear.

I am on my journey

And I pray that I walk this way.

To this path in such a holy place

Where I see your luminous grace.

Since I started this blog (3 weeks ago) I have been very inspired by a website called photobotos.com Everyday they feature beautiful and creative photographs that have opened my eyes and heart to other parts of the world, that I have never seen, and now I plan to someday see. With every photo I am struck in awe by the incredible creativity of God. The beauty created in every part of our universe, the diversity in God’s creativeness and yet the similarity, all created out of love and with joy.  I am filled with joy to know I live in this incredible universe with inspirational diversity.

The Truth of Thee

Is seen in the glory of a tree.

The magnificence of the Lord

Is seen in the tiniest insect that be.

The Love of God

Is in every living thing.

The Joy of Spirit

Is in the birth of life.

It is within the Almighties Light

That the universe exists

And the Love flourishes

Of which we are nourished.

The Power of the Creator

Is in the humanity of all,

For it is God who speaks our beckoning call.

Our call to embrace all his creativity

Regardless of religion or race.

Regardless of manmade law

We are one in the bosom of the Lord.

Each and every one of us is adored.

For it is in the Truth of the Lord.

It is Divine Law.

God is…you are…I am

One in all.

Drop of Innocence” – Sitra, Bahrain – Isa Ebrahim

Child with his mother in a funeral procession for one of the martyrs tortured by the impact Bahraini police in the city of Sitra 2011.

This is an award winning image that I first saw on www.photobotos.com .  I was very moved by this image and wrote “Eternal Right”.  The words and thoughts flowed immediately as I held the pen and God wrote this for all his children.  It does not matter where someone lives.  It does not matter what their religion, culture, or their color, every human has an Eternal Right.    It is a gift from God to live in love, peace and joy.

Awards for this image can be found at this link: http://isaphoto.net/blog/pages/centralblack.html

**************

Among the sea of dark is a spec of light,

A child of God born within the night,

With eyes and heart open to the divinity of his Eternal Right.

This child is the hope of a culture torn.

Spiritually driven, a nation cries over the fight so worn.

Mother’s weep, while children sleep that their fate may be sealed,

Before their life revealed.

The veil of homage shrouds the Divinity within,

hides the tears of loss,

And the fears that spin.

The child is embosomed within the culture deep.

And deep within the light shines,

For this young life so Divine.

Humanity starts with a smile,

a laugh, an offered hand,

A child’s grasp.

It takes one loving Soul to let the healing unfold,

It is on bended knee that I pray this day,

That this precious child’s eyes only see what is right with humanity.
