What prism do I see my life?

Is it through the eyes of love,

Or the veil of pain?

On what path did I chose to travel?

Is it with God

Or is all alone,

Locked in my human brain.

A place without sight of the glorious light,

A place where my choice

Can be blame.

Who am I to possess the Eternal Flame?

Who am I to scream at the sky,

That my fate is

God’s blame?

Who am I to close my eyes

To the beauty that is there?

Who am I to reject love,

From the Infinite above?

Who am I to reject

My place within the

Divine?

Who am I?

Who am I?

I am…I say

A Child of God

With Eternal Life,

Love of the Holy Core,

Divinity created by the Lord.

God is…

God is…

“I am”

God creates with Love

There is no rejection

From the Spirit above.

There is no apprehension

Of the sacredness

Of all that exist on this earth.

Who am I ?

Who is God?

God is…I am.

I am one,

Within the one,

Within the Infinite

Within the Eternal Flame.

I am one with God.

With love

Without blame.

I am

I am

God is…I am

And Is all…I am

I  am…

I am…

First Light WM

Silent night…a soundless blight,

A place of fright,

Resonates through the night.

In the darkness grows

The noiseless fight.

For some a place where agony

Vibrates throughout the soul’s plight.

The mind needs rest

In-bosomed in God’s breast.

In consciousness invest

In the merging of the best.

The best of humanity leaving behind

The human unrest.

Transform the thought from colorless dreams

To visions of love that stream in wistful things.

Love, and hate abates…

Joy, and pains quells…

Create, and emptiness fades…

Trust, and dreams do grow…

Believe, and your heart will sing…

The impulse of your essence will radiate

For all to know the universe vibrates

Of Love, that cultivates.

Everything within the world is a reflection

Of the beauty and love of God’s perfection.

All that live on the earth

Is a birth of God’s loving worth.

Regardless of form, breathe and thought

The creative God gives life

To air, water, and rock.

You are looking into the eyes of the Lord

When you see your reflection

In the watery floor.

All the life that grows from Thee

The stone so rough, polished or pressed

Is formed within God’s breathe.

Upon the stone where the water crawls

The reflections of the land stands so tall.

Clear into the sky you see

While looking down

Is the eyes of God

Beholding all.

Beneath the rock

Is the heart of the Lord.

With vibrations of love,

The ethereal land

Is God’s celestial span.

While on this earthly plane

There is no atom

Without God’s Eternal Flame.

The light of the Lord

In the misty haze

Illuminates the Land

On which we pray.

The great water fall

Cleanses ill thoughts away.

The earth beneath your feet

And the dirt between your toes

Is a reminder from where life first arose.

Beneath the earth the roots burrow deep

Into the core of our nurturing Lord.

Within the divinity of God’s breathe

Is the heavenly air that fills each life.

The Forest of trees

With outstretched limbs

Reach for the Lord

In loving accord.

The water drops from the falls

Feed the Forest to grow so tall.

The sunlight shines

With warmth that

Caresses the leaves and vines.

And within it all

Is the call

To rejoice

In the Magnificence

Of the Lord.

Tunnel of Trees Cloister Gormanston College

Tunnel of Trees”  Gormanstown College, Co Meath, Ireland,   Martina Fagan, Photographer

For judgment day we sit and wait

Judgment day still so far away.

Judgment is our fate.

In the field of judgment we let our children play.

In the bed of judgment we lay.

In the tunnel of darkened light

Judgment finds it way.

Upon the political leader the judgment falls.

The court calls the life sentence,

People in unrest want justice for all.

Judgment good or bad…

Is it a part of the divine plan?

Judgment a manmade thing,

Gives power to those who lead.

And fear to those who breathe.

Where is the peace when we crumble to our knees?

Where is God’s Divinity when we fear the people who lead?

The seed of judgment rooted deep…

Is the foundation on which we weep…

Weep in fear…

Weep in pain…

Weep from the damage of the judging word.

Judge others…

Judge ourselves…

Wear the mask of Judgment,

Blocking sight of the internal flame.

As judgment turns us from the God within

Judgment can’t break our spirit,

It just breeds lies and pain.

Judgment a companion of lust and greed.

The prison guard that chains the judged to a verdict of deceit.

An illusion of right and wrong…

Turn from judgment to the Truth

Ask yourself…

“Do I see the light of God in the judgments I make?”

Powerscout Waterfall Ireland

Flip Kos – Featured Photographer   www.photobotos.com  June 4, 2012

A trickle of love runs through the heart with each beat.

I shed a single tear as I weep.

An ache withers in pain.

Pain exists on the earthly plane.

A babbling brook overflows in the rain.

There is no shame.

There is no pain.

A gush of love swells the vein.

A heart bounds within a frame.

The water fall cascades in the earthly plane.

A song in the heart

Dances in the brain.

Love exists on every plane.

It is early spring

The birds sing the Lords song.

The sun sneaks up over the lawn

Warming the new life that’s born.

The dew covered grass

Glistens in the light.

A little rabbit nibbles in delight.

The bees go buzzing bye

To find a sweet flower

On which to dine.

The butterfly dances across the sky

In all this I see

The Lord’s Smile

Spread across the clear blue sky.

(1976)

For as long as I can remember the beauty of nature has always moved me.  Even as a child I would love to watch the dawning day from my bed room window.  In the dark I would sit and listen to the sounds of the night.  The rain and snow falling has never stopped  engaging me.   It was and still is in these sounds and sights… I see God.    This particular poem I never named.   So today I will call it “God Needs No Name.”  As god is Omnipresent.

Rocks reaching high

The sky bends low

The Lord whispers in the air

That embraces the land below.

Moss on the rocks,

Sun in the sky,

Clouds in the way

Blocking sight of the glorious rays.

Joy in hearts,

Worry in minds,

Blocking the truth of what is real.

In an explosive roar

The rocks erupt from the loving core.

Just as Anger that has been stored.

Hatred festers,

Love ignored,

From it comes the horrors or war.

It is our thoughts that procreate

The culture of love

Or the state of hate.

Eight years ago I knelt with my hands in the dirt

I planted a young vine with love and mirth.

I watered and fed the vine

While I dreamed of the flowers it would bring.

Across the lattice the branches did spread

The leaves so gently popped their head.

For eight years I waited to see the flowery crown.

Now with a lush fullness the flower buds bring.

A lacy white top that makes my heart sing.

A climbing hydrangea so lush and pure

A beautiful flower that climbs,

From the dirt floor.

In the cup like petals

Is a heartfelt of love.

In the sunlight shines the truth

In the flowering world this is the symbol

Of life’s enduring beauty and grace.

For me this is what I have waited eight years to see.

In 2004 I planted a climbing hydrangea in my garden.  Each year the branches spread across the lattice fencing.  And each year I waited to see the flowers bloom.  Last year the flower buds started to open until we had an early heat wave in May.   The young tender petals were scorched in the bright burning sun.  So this year I have been very eager to see the full hydrangea flowers.  Yesterday,  I counted 8 blooms starting to open.

Manarola

There is a city of the Lord

Built upon the rocks.

Below the water flows

As a road for

Travelers to come and go.

In the city of the Lord

The lights and lamps set it a glow.

It is a city that has withstood

The furry of nature and the

Lives of millions

Who walk the stones

To the shore.

In every city across the world

Is the divinity of the Lord.

It is within the buildings.

Within the shops

And within the churches

Standing on the rocks.

There is always light that shines

Where ever life exist.

It is the people who know the light

That bring peace and love

To the land.

It is the children who play

And smile to bring

Joy to the town each day.

It is within every town

That the eternal light of God

Can be found.

It is within every heart

To grow love from a rock.
